Time Management is the capacity to estimate how much time one has, how to allocate it, and how to stay within time limits and deadlines. It also involves a sense that time is important.
No one is born with a sense of time. It is something that can be learned over time (pardon the pun). For those of us with ADHD who do not “feel” time, time management can be quite a challenge.
When a person has difficulties with time management, it may be hard for them to:
get out the door in the morning
estimate how long an activity/task will take-from start to finish
tell time (analog and digital)
make and follow a schedule
guess how long it will take to complete an assignment
