Time Management is the capacity to estimate how much time one has, how to allocate it, and how to stay within time limits and deadlines. It also involves a sense that time is important.
No one is born with a sense of time. It is something that can be learned over time (pardon the pun). For those of us with ADHD who do not “feel” time, time management can be quite a challenge.
You can help strengthen the executive functions skill of time management by using the following strategy, SCHEDULE:
Calculate how long each activity/task will take
Hunt down hidden factors
Use a planner
Listen to yourself
