 Sustained attention is the capacity to attend to a situation or task in spite of distractibility, fatigue or boredom.

 When a person has difficulty with sustained attention it can present like the following:

easily distracted

difficulty noticing details

short attention span

difficulty completing work

forget assignments

forget materials to complete assignments

rushes through a task

difficulty seeing things through to completion
